Smithco Services is Hiring a Commercial HVAC Project Manager/Sales Near Beach, FL
Smithco Services is looking to fill a Commercial Project Manager/Sales position to work out of our West Palm Beach office to sell and coordinate the completion of Commercial HVAC and Ice Machine change outs. The position requires some field visits to acquire information for the estimates and the creation of a plan for completion.
Job Description
- NO cold calling! All leads provided by field technicians and incoming customer requests to our office
- Provide estimates for changing out Commercial HVAC equipment such as Air Conditioners, Exhaust Fans, Ice Machines and Make Up Air Fans.
- Contact vendors and facilitate the ordering and delivery of the equipment that was sold
- Manage the sold jobs by creating a plan for Smithco Install crews to follow for the successful completion of the equipment change out
- Assist in the Ice Machine Leasing program which includes sales and managing delivery/installs of ice machines
- Quality control of Commercial projects and point of contact for customer inquiries
- Follow up on Sales Leads
- No new construction bids, change outs only
- Monday thru Friday mostly. Occasional weekend or overnight projects
- Experience determines compensation. Bonus opportunities available
Qualifications Needed
- Must have at least 4 years personal experience installing HVAC systems
- Commercial install experience is a big plus
- Comprehensive knowledge of duct design
- Computer literate in programs such as Word, Excel and communications via email
- Sales experience
- Ability to lead
- Clean driving record for the ability to drive a company vehicle
