POSITION PURPOSE 

As the Clinical Services Coordinator you will collaborate with the Nurse Practitioners (NP) management team to implement quality assurance measures aimed at monitoring and evaluating patient care services provided by the NPs. This role involves assisting in conducting audits of NP clinical documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Additionally, the Coordinator will support the implementation of evidence-based practices and protocols to enhance patient care quality and safety.

As a vital member of the team, you will provide essential administrative support to the NPs within the organization. Responsibilities include managing schedules, facilitating the onboarding process for new nurse practitioners, and facilitating communication among members, providers, and primary care practitioners. They will also play a key role in supporting general office operations, including inventory management, coordinating meetings and events, and managing incoming and outgoing correspondence via mail, phone calls, and faxes.

This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

This is a recently upgraded position that supports our clinical services and continued expansion, reporting to our Nurse Practitioner Manager and Clinical Services Director. 

This progressive hybrid role is based out of our Phoenix Office at least three days per week, conveniently located off the 51 Freeway (Glendale Ave. and 16th St.).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Nurse Practitioner team in performing tasks related to helping the organization and department meet their goals.
  • Work collaboratively within a team setting to provide excellent patient outcomes.
  • Create memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents when necessary.
  • Captures meeting minutes with assigned duties and follow-up timelines.
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude in providing customer service and quality care.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word and Outlook, with exceptional knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Identify and resolve problems in efficient and effective ways.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information confidentially.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in home health, physician’s office, or public health is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
  • Knowledge of CMS guidelines.

EDUCATION, LICENSES, & CERTIFICATIONS 

  • Associate's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field required. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field strongly preferred.
