Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing boiler and HVAC installations. This is a key leadership role that requires strong project management skills and a deep understanding of mechanical systems and boilers. Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of boiler installation projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard software such as Primavera
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure on-time completion
- Review and interpret blueprints and other construction documents
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Oversee the work of subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction activities and address any issues that may arise
- Prepare progress reports for clients and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and submittals
Experience:
- Proven experience overseeing Boiler installations
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and building codes
- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore or similar platforms
- Experience working for a Mechanical Contractor
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with estimating software such as HeavyBid is a plus
- Knowledge of contract management processes and procedures
- Familiarity with software tools such as Bluebeam for document management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
