Actalent is looking for a Contracts Manager

Description:

The Contract Specialist for the Construction Management team inside the Smithsonian, & will report to the DC office 100% of the time. This person will be sharing duties of Project Manager & Contracts Manager

Knowledge of contract price and cost analysis techniques sufficient to develop complex contractual pricing

arrangements and incentives, such as: (1) devising multiple incentives requiring use of sophisticated contracting

techniques; (2) sharing arrangements, such as cost-plus incentive fee or fixed price incentive fees, where SI and

contractor share the cost risk; or (3) economic price adjustment clauses that identify the basis for adjusting

certain labor or material costs where price cannot be reasonably predicted at the time of contract negotiations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

1. 7 years of Project Manager experience within construction (commercial or government)

2. dependability and communication skills - MOST IMPORTANT

3. Must have experience managing contracts from conception to completion & projects from conception to completion

4. Construction or Architecture degree is HIGHLY preferred
