Job Opening: Office Manager
Act is a Christian, legal non-profit, seeking an amiable and adaptable Office Manager to support Act’s staff and stakeholders. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and professional work environment. Our ideal Office Manager ("OM”) is personable, administratively gifted and thrives when creating and maintaining systems.
Faith and Justice Anchor. The ideal Act candidate must possess a deep relationship with Jesus Christ, a passion for Biblical justice and racial equity, a teachable spirit, and a humble desire to collaborate with a diverse team.
Office Administration. A well-run, welcoming office is essential to our collaborative team and the broad spectrum of stakeholders who come to our office for meetings and events. From the reception desk this position is the first face of the organization as they welcome and host visitors and vendors. This role ensures an organized and creative working environment for our staff, which includes day to day attention to office needs and managing relationships with all of our office vendors.
Human Resources Support. This position also contributes to our HR functions through database and filing management, payroll administration, and benefits administration, and other responsibilities. These responsibilities require fastidious attention to detail and prudent discretion.
Technology and Equipment. Our OM serves as our internal technology coordinator and as the point of contact with our excellent IT vendor. This role manages all of our licenses, software, platforms and hardware, ensuring each team member is well-quipped with the technology they need to do their job, while ensuring security and confidentiality of information.
Education and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in business or in a related field and three (3) or more years of administrative experience in a non-profit is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management platforms, like Google Suite or Trello, is required.

Work Requirements: Must reside in the Dallas area and have the capability to work in-person at our Dallas Headquarters and occasionally travel to Fort Worth.
