Overview
JOB SUMMARY
Prepares strategic business and financial plans. Performs financial analysis of current and prospective processes and practices. Undertakes capital purchase analysis and prepares project and purchasing proposals. Supports all financial activities of the department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work requires sitting for long periods of time in an office setting and walking, bending, stooping, and standing for long periods of time. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 50 pounds in handling medical equipment and supplies. Fast paced office environment. Travel may be required
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree in Business, Health Administration or Finance preferred. 4-5 years of Professional experience in a similar job managing a department or a complex area in a healthcare setting required. Prior Atrium Health experience and Military background a plus. Previous experience working with Physicians or a highly matrix area is a plus. Ability to support and write grants a plus. Must have intermediate Excel skills with the ability to pull and manipulate data.

Additional Summary
The Military Civilian Partnership Program (MCP), aligned with the Mission Zero Initiative, facilitates a collaborative bridge between military and civilian healthcare systems. This program consists of many specialties ranging from ED Physicians, Trauma Surgeons, Nurses, Special Operation Combat Medics (SOCMS), and Surgical Technologists. Assignments for each active service men and/or woman is on a three-year assignment. The goal of this project is to provide comprehensive trauma training so that when a soldier is deployed, they are more readily equipped with trauma training skills. This project is supported by the Mission Zero Grant, signed into law in 2018, that states that military and civilian healthcare institutions are allowed such innovative training partnerships to promote and enhance trauma readiness skills. All members in this project have a list of key skills and competencies required to meet per their unit (Special Operations Medical Detachment). Those in the program are scheduled in accordance with guidelines outlined in the current Medial Training Agreement between Atrium Health and USASOC
