Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) is Hiring a Project Manager Near Cary, NC

Are you an outgoing strategic thinker who is ready to lead and influence in a glass-half-full environment? ACHC is looking for a structured Project Manager to provide project management and oversight for strategic, program, and departmental initiatives. This person provides consistent planning and execution of initiatives through utilization of PMO and ISO standards. The ideal candidate can organize information quickly and problem-solve while effectively prioritizing multiple initiatives. This person should embrace being an adaptable change agent who fosters continuous improvement and has positive working relationships company wide.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

The Project Manager responsibilities and authorities consist of the following.

-Planning

  • Assists initiative sponsors with defining project scope, objectives, and timelines.
  • Develops detailed initiative plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Develops contingency plans in response to risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Develops initiative team for coordination of initiative tasks.

-Execution

  • Assists in defining scope requirements and process mapping.
  • Ensures initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
  • Establishes and evaluates quality standards for deliverables and stakeholder expectations.
  • Facilities cross-departmental resources for prioritization alignment.
  • Maintains comprehensive initiative documentation for phase reviews and initiative audits.

-Corporate strategy

  • Analyzes and presents on initiative performance, operational efficiencies, and lessons learned activities.
  • Contributes to standardized Project Management Office governance, tools, and resources.
  • Provides and promotes best practices across departments to manage and deliver initiatives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The Project Manager education and training, skills and experience, and working conditions and environment consist of the following.

-Education and training

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Business, Health Administration, Public Relations, or Public Policy.
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

-Skills and experience

  • 4 to 6 years of project management experience (prefer mix of technical and non-technical and/or Waterfall and Agile).
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word required).
  • Proven experience in people influencing, risk management, and change management.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills to lead and engage large teams of internal and external individuals driving outcomes.
  • Possess ability to work effectively in an independent and multi-task environment.
  • Proficiency with project management tools.

This position is located in Cary, NC, with a hybrid policy that allows for a mix of in-office time along with some remote working. In order to be considered, please send your resume along with your desired compensation.
