Job Description

We are seeking a qualified, service-minded ambassador for the Overnight Guest Service / Night Auditor position.

What you will be doing
- Posting and balancing charges and settlements for room, restaurant and bar daily work; maintaining files, and running the computer system through nightly processing sequences to reset for the next day's use in balancing applicable functions.
- Preparing and transmitting credit card deposits, and is able to verify accuracy of credit card transactions and batch reports.
- Will also process all city ledger work to accounting, as well as perform as a Front Desk Agent which represents the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of guests hotel experience including : reservations, check-in and check-out and any follow up communication.
- Welcome all guests in a luxury environment, completing both check-in and checkout procedures and creating a warm greeting / farewell to the departing guests.
- Handling incoming phone calls to the hotel including In-house guest requests.
- Must be able to handle any security problems and is able to report any unusual occurrences, with the assistance of the security staff.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include
- Previous experience with Opera a plus or a comparable property management system (PMS).
- Must have experience working with computers, specifically Word, Excel and messaging.
- Must be able to multitask and have excellent attention to detail as well as organizational skills.
- Must be able to work with little supervision. Required to be able provide self-direction for identifying and completing tasks.
- Minimum 1-year experience in similar position in a luxury setting or hotel school degree.
