Job Description: 

Accenture Federal Services is looking for a Systems Engineer 3 (DevOps) to help provide consultative business and system integration services to help clients implement effective solutions. Understand and translate customer needs into business and technology solutions. Drive discussions and consult on transformation, the customer journey, functional/application designs and ensure technology and business solutions represent business requirements.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate planning, development, integration and test activities across multiple teams
• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that adhere within the defined system architecture
• Develop methods, processes, and evaluation criteria by which the systems and work products are verified against their requirements in a written plan
• Work within system certification and accreditation processes
• Analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications
• Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies
• Willing to jump in and take over operations type work, diagnose Kubernetes issues, diagnose CI/CD issues, diagnose application issues, assist customers with their deployment troubleshooting
• Maintain product backlog using JIRA and documentation in Confluence
• Work across contracts to assist both front-end and back-end development
• Develop/update scripts with Java, Python, and/or Perl

Here's what you need:

• 20 years' experience in systems engineering 
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required OR 4 years of additional systems engineering, in lieu of a degree

Security Clearance:

• An active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required to start

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.

California: $173,500 - $322,900
Colorado: $173,500 - $279,100
New York: $160,700 - $322,900
Washington: $184,900 - $297,000
