Abundant Life HCS Company is a Home Based and Community Services Company that provides residential support to adults with intellectual disabilities.

Job Duties

• Establish yourself as the point of contact for the families and consumers we serve.
• Assess the needs of the person receiving services through completion of periodic assessments.
• Act as an advocate and quality assurance monitor to ensure services are being provided in the most efficient and effective manner.
• Secure and maintain client’s eligibility funding in accordance with specific program regulations.
• Maintain ongoing communication with local, state and federal entities.
• Perform all job duties in adherence to state and federal laws concerning confidentiality, including HIPAA Privacy Laws.
• Interact with a wide variety of professionals including but not limited to: physicians, social workers, psychologists, private employers, school administration, law enforcement, and various other members of the community.

Qualifications

•Excellent verbal skills are essential to communicate clearly with clients, staff, families, guardians, service coordinators and state surveyors.

•Ability to understand and follow directions and the ability to gain comprehensive knowledge of regulations and laws.

•Ability to safely and accurately assess and care for consumers with medical and mental disabilities and to recognize and report any noted concerns.

•Must be able to adjust in changing priorities and the various details of the job.

•Must be self-directed with strong organizational and time management skills.

•24-hour availability (via telephone) and in-person during office hours unless other arrangements can be made.

•Must have reliable transportation.

•Must be proficient in Microsoft computer applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
