Working in the Electrification Smart Power (ELSP) division, you will be leading the execution of GPG Power Protection Service projects, ensuring that they are executed in-line with procedures, specifications, standards requirements and targets.

Project Operations Director

• Managing commissioning projects and field resources on a daily basis.
• Assisting the Project Controls department to define all project documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, resources and financials.
• Identifying and managing risks, while ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Coordinating with the Procurement and Logistics team to procure required services, materials and equipment.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a contact point for customer enquiries and an escalation point for project issues.

• Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience.
• 5 plus years of site project management experience.
• Electrical Technical skills preferred.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Experience work on service projects.
• Experience managing commissioning projects.
• Experience managing field resources daily in accordance with the scope a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites (up to 30 percent).
• Fluency in English both orally and in writing.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
