Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of a medical office, ensuring efficient and effective functioning
- Manage and supervise office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
- Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure timely and accurate appointment management
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner
- Manage medical records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and workflow
- Monitor and manage office budget, including billing, coding, and insurance claims processing
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes
Skills:
- Knowledge to understand medical terminology and procedures preferred
- Proficiency in practice management software
- Experience providing medical administrative support in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with managed care principles and insurance billing processes
