Duties:
- Develop and implement a French language curriculum for students 3months -5 years old.
- Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to the individual learning needs of students.
- Utilize behavior management strategies to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to support student learning and development.
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure the integration of French language skills into the overall curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and school administration.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education and language instruction.
Skills:
- Fluency in French and English languages, both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of French grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
- Experience working with students with special needs, particularly those with autism.
- Ability to develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching students with special needs.
