Job Overview:
This highly visible position will be working on a team of dedicated office personnel. As one of the first points of contact for our schools, parent's, drivers and staff, this Customer Service Rep will need excellent phone skills, strong data entry experience and ability to multi task.

Duties:

  • Take lead on answering incoming phone calls and doing so promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service at all times.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a courteous and timely manner. Forwarding to appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Greet incoming drivers and visitors. High level accuracy and attention to detail with updating client and trip information in routing software.
  • Effectively communicate to staff, drivers, and riders through various communication channels/routing platform as it relates to same-day school delays, early dismissals, or other schedule changes.
  • Ensure that drivers maintain up-to-date route statuses via routing platform.
  • Assist in obtaining accurate information related to transportation needs of newly requested students ie: confirmation calls and school year start-up data entry.
  • Assist with scanning/filing of records, forms and certifications.
  • Assists the Transportation Manager/Director of Transportation Operations when needed.
  • Maintain a current ODE certification and operate as an unassigned driver when needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years exp in Customer Service
  • Strong skills in phone etiquette; excellent written and verbal skills
  • High level attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and multi-task
  • Knowledge of basic math, data entry and word processing
  • Ability and desire to work as part of a team
  • Hold current Driver Certification
  • Must be technically savvy and able to navigate web based software, and tools such as Google docs, sheets, et
