POSITION SUMMARY

The Key Accounts Account Executive has a pivotal role dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and expertise to our high-value commercial lines clients with premiums exceeding $500,000.

As the primary day-to-day contact for clients and working closely with the Risk Advisor, the Key Accounts Account Executive plays a crucial role in managing client accounts, ensuring prompt and effective service, fostering strong relationships, and contributing to the growth of our commercial insurance portfolio.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients through proactive contact initiatives.
  • Manage a book of key commercial lines clients, including various industries and sectors.
  • Ability to act as the Risk Advisor in their absence, including running client meetings, making strategic decisions, negotiating with carriers, etc.
  • Review client contracts and indemnification provisions in contracts for compliance and red flags in partnership with on-staff attorney.
  • Coordinate market selection for new and renewal business on designated accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, operating plans, and strategic initiatives.
  • Handle service requests efficiently and accurately via phone and email, including requesting quotes, negotiating pricing and coverage, generating proposals, etc.
  • Utilize agency management systems, carrier websites, and have a solid understanding of various products and coverages.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with carriers, broker servicing networks, and other providers.
  • Mentor and train team members who are developing their expertise in key account management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
