We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist, to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable across multiple entities. This is a new position and will have opportunity for growth.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and execute timely payments to vendors.
- Reconcile AP records with vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in maintaining the vendor database, W-9’s and ensuring compliance with payment terms.
- Ability to work efficiently, in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience in and Accounts Payable role.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks online and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
- High level of integrity and commitment to data accuracy.
