Medical benefits. The Mobile Technician II provides on-going support for staff and students with specialization on mobile devices such as Chromebooks, iPads, PCs, and other wireless devices. The ideal candidate will:
Support teachers and students with functionality of technology devices in the classroom
Provide first level of support and troubleshoot PCs, printers, projectors and other forms technology
Repair or coordinate repairs on Chromebooks, iPads, PCs, and other mobile devices
Provide assistance to teachers and students where it relates with use of technology
Maintain technology inventory for the building(s) assigned
Install or update apps / software as directed
Be proactive, communicate and escalate issues to the next level of support
Assist in maintaining a high level of security on the district network
Perform other tasks or services consistent with the job goal of this position that a supervisor may assign.
Requirements include:
Education: At least 30 semester hours college credit preferred
Knowledge of Windows, Chrome OS, iOS, Google Apps, and Microsoft Office
Detail-oriented
Experience with troubleshooting technical issues
Positive interpersonal communication ability and self-motivation
