Trelleborg Healthcare and Medical is seeking a Global Strategic Account Director to join their team.
You are responsible for leading the Strategic Account Team to deliver profitable growth through Trelleborg Medical Solutions largest global customers.
This role will lead a team of Global Strategic Account Managers to accelerate profitable growth within a large, global and complex customer base. This will include guiding and directing the Strategic Account Managers to formulate global account plans, negotiate contracts, support existing business and elevate the partnership between the customer and Trelleborg.
In addition to leadership responsibilities, the Global Strategic account Director may, as needed, develop and directly manage Strategic Accounts. Responsibilities include developing the global strategic account plan to ensure profitable growth within the customer and then is accountable for its execution globally – including developing key customer relationships, building an internal support team, and tracking projects progress.

Establish and drive best practices for SAM team to gather credible data and develop a deep working knowledge on customer(s) organization, structure, strategies, competitors (customer and TMS), and economic trends relating to the account(s) globally.
Develop a relationship with all relevant roles within the customer globally. With emphasis on the C suite.
Lead and manage by influence and with the right use of the right networks externally.
Organize regular strategic alignment sessions with the account(s) and develop a road map for the account(s) including medium- and long-term strategy.
Active use of Sales Excellence framework in execution of the strategic plan
When necessary, act as an escalation point for the Strategic Account Managers as they negotiate with customers.
