The House of LaRose is a beverage distribution company located in Brecksville, Ohio. The House of LaRose has been in business for over 84 years and currently employs approximately 300 people servicing over 5,500 customers in nine Northeastern counties. We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk.

This position will report directly to the CFO and is responsible for providing support for the department, order office supplies, back-up in other departments and perform all accounts payable functions, other duties may be assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all accounts payable functions including verify invoices, ready vouchers, account coding, enter payments into system, print checks and mail after signed by CFO.
• Sort and distribute mail to administrative personnel.
• Perform secretarial functions for administrative department including answering phone, faxing, filing, word processing and making photo copies.
• Complete various monthly reports such as: sales trade spending by employee, account analysis for expense accounts, tapping equipment report for Draft Managers, sales promotion account data for Marketing Manager, maintain mileage reports and other reports as needed.
• Track, prepare and pay State of Ohio quarterly use tax report and account for all Ohio sales tax discrepancies by preparing accounts payable voucher.
• Perform back-up duties for Cashiers office.
• Order, inventory and distribute office supplies including copy paper.

Education and/or Experience:

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent education from two-year College and/or three to five years related experience.
• Microsoft Great Plains experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy required.
