Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Contract Development (Resident) Engineer to join our team working out of the Woodcliff, NJ location. 

Responsibilities:

• Conducting actual vehicle driving tests with customers
• Identifying and improving Telematics functionality issues
• Providing engineering support for various vehicle systems
• Performing daily driving tests to assess performance and reliability
• Conducting network communication tests to ensure connectivity
• Debugging and analyzing data to troubleshoot issues efficiently
• Running test cases for the telematics feature
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• 1 Years related experience
• Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail
• Desire to learn constantly and dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies
• Ability to work late/early hours for meetings with international contacts
• Ability to drive a test vehicle daily, including trips international (Ex: US/Canada)
• Ability to:
  • Lift/carry benches weighing up to 25lbs to setup workstation
  • Sit while driving/testing the vehicles for up to 3 hours at a time
  • Interact with display/center controller/steering wheel while driving or while stationary testing
• Travel up to 40% (domestic and international)
