Seasonal Pool Dining Chef

• Demonstrates superior technical skills for all cooking responsibilities for line shifts.
• Prepares and cooks a variety of short-order dishes maintaining consistent execution of recipes and presentation.
• Ensures food is cooked to the correct temperature and meets quality standards.
• Collaborates with the kitchen team to fulfill pool orders and pool kitchen inventory needs.
• Supervises Pool Line Cooks, identifying and solving any problems related to food quality, portion sizes, and consistency.
• Reads and track tickets during service to determine what/when items need to be prepared.
• Assists in menu planning and contributes to recipe development.
• Uses proper portioning techniques.
• Cleans station floors, counters, tools, cutting boards, and preparation surfaces to ensure station is clean and sanitized at all times.
• Maintains effective communication with expediters and fellow employees throughout shift regarding item availability, status of working orders, and special circumstances.
• Must be a team player and accept constructive criticism.
• Must follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Must provide prompt and friendly service.
• Assists fellow team members to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Maintains positive attitude while working as a team.
• Maintains a clean and professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

• Two years of experience in a full-service restaurant, upscale restaurant, resort, or country club.
• Must be able to assist guests and possess great member relations skills.
• Must be upbeat, outgoing, and positive in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.

• Ability to stand and remain alert for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed.
• Continuous use of hands and arms.
• Continuous bending, reaching and twisting.
• Must pass a background screening.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have dependable transportation.
