Marietta Country Club is Hiring a Summer Camp Instructor Near Kennesaw, GA
- Responsible for making sure each activity runs smoothly and each student is progressing throughout the week.
- Follow Camp Director’s lead and help deliver a fun, educational experience for all the campers.
- Facilitate the daily activities of the camp such as crafts, swimming, poolside activities, games and lessons and manage progression of campers as needed.
- Provides individual instruction when needed.
- Report daily progress to the Camp Director and inform them of any issues with any parents, guardian, or campers.
- Help run the camp theme of the week.
- Provide a safe atmosphere, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Create an inclusive environment and manage campers’ behavior.
- Immediately report any major issues to camp management.
- Previous experience working in a camp setting preferred.
- Excellent ability to deal well with a wide range of children’s ages and acumens.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Very strong customer relations skills.
- Resourceful and good problem-solver.
- Works well under pressure.
- Enthusiastic, flexible, patient, and positive demeanor
- Good judgment is a must.
- Availability to work in summer camps for the full week (Tuesday-Friday).
- Frequent walking and standing.
- Occasional bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Must be able to work in an outdoor environment during activities.
