JANSON has an opening for a full-time Multi-Media Specialist to provide support for our US Army client. This is a hybrid position working on our client site at Fort Belvoir, Virginia 3 days a week and from your home office 2 days a week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active Secret Clearance required
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3-5 years’ experience in digital marketing
• Experience conceptualizing, designing, and producing multimedia products, including videography and photography are required
• Must be able to juggle multiple tasks and projects and follow through to meet deadlines
• Solid grammar and editing skills are required
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital content creation and distribution to continuously enhance content strategy and execution

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Edit and write content for a variety of digital media platforms
• Collaborate on digital marketing campaigns and develop and capture supporting digital media content
• Cover local events with photo and video and capture multi-media for use on digital media platforms
• Provide on-site video and photography coverage of events, as requested
• Support the daily management of the public-facing website (WordPress) by tracking and completing tasks staffed in Jira and making front-end updates to the website
• Provide records management uploading final articles into DVIDS and CORE
• Oversee weekly digital media calendar
• Draft and post daily approved content; and monitor and respond to comments and questions
