Job Overview
Southern California-based commercial construction & development company Howard CDM is seeking a reliable and team-oriented Facilities Administrator to join our growing firm. This is a great opportunity for a career-minded person who would enjoy working in a fun and fast-paced environment for a company with a track record of upskilling and promoting its employees.
The Facilities Administrator’s responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting the Property Manager in managing the schools’ physical property, helping to ensure that the school facilities are safe/clean environments for the staff and students, and serving as a liaison between the schools and any external agencies related to the property including insurers and local government officials.

This position has three worksites: School Site A, School Site B, and our office in Bellflower.
School Site A – 2 to 3 times a week
School Site B – 2 to 3 times a week
Office in Bellflower – Wednesday Afternoons

How We Determine What We Pay
Howard CDM determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living.
For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant’s location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. Additionally, we consider the external market rate, the amount we have budgeted internally, and internal equity within the company for the same position. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
