The Role

Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic and results-oriented SEO Manager to join the Performance Marketing team. In this role, you will be reporting into the Senior Manager and will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective and cohesive SEO Strategy across multiple teams: digital product, content, and field marketing. The SEO Manager will support architecting organic growth - helping create a data-driven strategy that is at the forefront of search trends. You should possess technical and content-focused SEO expertise, utilizing both to help drive revenue for Hyatt. Success in this position requires strong analytics and communication skills as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Develop and execute an SEO strategy and roadmap aligned with key business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across the entire company. Conduct regular training on SEO best practices and their role in contributing to organic growth.
  • Dive into site architecture, crawl budget optimization, site speed, page rendering, and overall technical performance to identify opportunities and help resolve issues.
  • Assist in the content creation process by providing in-depth keyword research to identify relevant search terms and user intent.
  • Leverage multiple data sources (Adobe, Search Console, Botify, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) to measure the impact of SEO initiatives, and report on the impact to key stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities within existing website content and architecture that will increase organic visits and direct bookings on hyatt.com.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills – effectively present complex SEO concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Assist in managing agency and vendor relationships.
  • Analyze, track, and report on SEO performance trends and key initiatives with insights that will inform go-forward strategies. Share with key internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively stay at the forefront of the SEO industry and its constant changes.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt's core values.

Qualifications

Experience Required:

  • 5 years of relevant professional experience in marketing, digital media, or related function
  • Demonstrated experience with SEO strategy and execution, with a proven track record of success in driving growth
  • Possess an innovative, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills
  • Exceptional technical, local, and content-focused SEO knowledge
  • Team player who works well with counterparts from various functions/departments and can influence the work of counterparts without direct reporting accountability
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills, experience with Adobe Analytics a plus
  • Proficiency with enterprise SEO software such as Screaming Frog, Botify, SEMRush, or Ahrefs.
  • Understanding of front-end web technology including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution
  • Experience in hospitality a plus
