Easterseals New Jersey is seeking an Business Developer to support our Employment Services programs!
What will you do?
The ES Business Developer is responsible for generating sales and identifying opportunities through a variety of sales channels including cold calling, database, social media, community-based networking, and referrals.
You will also develop relationships at all levels of corporate partners. Increase sales through the full sales life cycle from lead generation to closing the sale, as well as ensure delivery of outstanding and highly responsive internal and external customer service with a high degree of creativity.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obtain new sub-contract business through cold calling, telesales, social media, and other sales channels throughout the state.
- Build strong community-based relationships by participating in networking events, trade shows and local the Chamber of Commerce.
- Pursue and procure sub-contract purchase orders from new and existing customers.
- Telephone or visit the appropriate contact person within targeted companies. Assess the potential for targeted companies to utilize ESNJ services.
- Prepare and deliver formal presentations to targeted companies.
- Review contract and pricing with appropriate Plant Manager. Prepare proposals and present to target companies.
- Log and maintain updated contact history into database.
- Produce detailed daily, weekly and monthly reports including daily activities, new customers and new contracts with existing customers. Provide reports to management by specified deadlines.
- Maintain positive working relationships with Plant Managers, local communities, customers and other ESNJ staff.
- Strategize a plan to increase sales within our greenhouse operation
- Work with Sales Manager to secure contracts for C.N.A. Product Sales
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- College degree preferred
- Outside sales experience helpful including proven success in cold calling sales techniques
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management
- Strong organization and computers skills required
- Must be able to travel between site locations Millville and New Brunswick New Jersey
