Role of a Residential Counselor:

• Provides care and support to clients in a residential setting.
• Assists with daily tasks and ensures safety.
• Organizes group activities.
• Works on case plans, monitors progress, and collaborates with other professionals.
• Assists clients with daily activities like grooming, meals, sleep, exercise, housekeeping, etc.
• Reminds residents to complete tasks and attend appointments.
• Monitors resident behavior, prepares meals, and does light housework.

• Have excellent emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
• Interested in making a real difference in people’s lives.
• Valid Drivers license with acceptable driving record
• Bachelor Degree in MH, health or human services or A combination of one (1) or more years’ of college, plus related life or work experience equal to four (4) years or High School or GED plus four (4) years of related work or life experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $18.75 per hour
