Centrica Business Solutions is Hiring a Strategic Accounts Manager Near Irving, TX

The Strategic Accounts Manager manages company deliverables to Strategic Account clients, enhancing the relationship between customers and Centrica Business Solutions. The deliverables include: finding and building new revenue streams and projects with existing key customers, proposal development, project status communication to clients and issue resolution. The Strategic Accounts Manager coordinates internal resources to ensure deadlines are met. The position also supports Sales Leaders with as-needed pre-opportunity data and analytics, existing project coordination and post-project reporting. In addition, the Account Manager represents the voice of the customer to internal resources and ensures that the solutions developed meet our customers' needs, goals, and priorities.

Our Strategic Accounts Manager’s contributions to the team include:

  • Managing Strategic Account Projects to include ownership of project communication to corporate-level customers
  • Acting as a liaison between customer and internal resources, to ensure consistent, timely deliverables to customers
  • Ensuring that customers receive proposals that meet their specifications, and are of consistent quality
  • Implementing Sales/Account Strategies by preparing and analyzing customer objectives and organizational data to find and explore multi-year revenue streams
  • Providing support to all Strategic Sales Leaders with items such as as-needed pre-opportunity data and analytics, existing project coordination and post-project reporting
  • Maintaining customer relationships; provides 'single point of contact' customer service
  • Ensuring adherence to all internal works standards and sales administration processes
  • Leading internal resources in a team sale that includes Development, Operations, and Service

The core components of success are (i.e. must haves):

  • 5 years successfully executing and managing sales
  • 5 years proven experience building and maintaining customer relationships Acting as a liaison between customer and internal resources, to ensure consistent, timely deliverables to customers
  • Ability to challenge and create sense of urgency

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or a related field
  • Previous experience with energy services companies - Solar, Lighting Retrofits, BESS Resiliency, HVAC controls and/or mechanical

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-130,000 commission benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
