Position Title: Snack Bar Attendant

Location: Thelma's Snack Bar, 9th Hole Snack Bar, Falls Snack Bar

Reports to: Snack Bar Food and Beverage Manager

Job Type: Part-time, Seasonal

Job Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Snack Bar Attendants. As a Snack Bar Attendant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our golf course patrons. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have excellent customer service skills, and are passionate about delivering a positive experience for our members and guests.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:

  • Greet and assist members in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take and process customer orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide information on menu items, specials, and promotions.
  • Handle member inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

• Food Preparation:

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the snack bar area.

• Cash Handling:

  • Operate cash registers and handle member & guest transactions accurately.
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and return change as needed.

• Inventory Management:

  • Monitor and restock inventory as needed.
  • Perform routine checks on stock levels and report shortages.
  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.

• Maintaining Cleanliness:

  • Keep the snack bar area, dining tables, and service areas clean and organized.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines in food handling and sanitation.

• Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members.
  • Assist in other areas of the snack bar as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
