Blackhawk Country Club in Stratford, CT is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Front of House Service Director.

Responsibilities Include: 

Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing front-of-house team. Schedule and coordinate staff shifts, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours. 

Uphold standards of exceptional customer service for members and guests

Oversee day-to-day operations including opening and closing procedures as well as banquets. Manage beverage inventory levels and ordering.

Monitor and maintain quality of service, conduct regular checks on cleanliness, and organization. 

Plan and execute special events, promotions, and collaborations to drive foot traffic. Collaborate with marketing to create engaging programming and campaigns.

Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximize revenue. Work closely with the general manager to manage budgets and control costs.

Identify areas for improvement and implement training programs accordingly.

**Qualifications:**

• Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic accounting principles.

Requirements

- Working knowledge of all aspects of the food service industry, including both Front of House and Back of House experience
- Professional demeanor, good work ethic and team mentality
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of club management software is a plus
