Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our Banquet Kitchen Team. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen area, ensuring all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards. The ideal candidate is hardworking, organized, and committed to upholding the standards of Blackhawk Country Club.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate dishwashing machines efficiently, ensuring all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized.
• Hand-wash items as needed, paying close attention to detail to ensure all items are free of food residue and stains.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the dishwashing station and related areas such as storage and disposal facilities.
• Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, walls, and countertops, following proper cleaning protocols.
• Manage garbage disposal and recycling, ensuring waste is correctly separated and disposed of in accordance with club policies.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and banquet team to ensure a smooth operation and quick turnaround of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Conduct regular checks of the dishwashing machine and other equipment for proper functioning, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with kitchen and banquet setup and teardown as needed, ensuring a seamless operation.

Qualifications:

• No previous experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
