Job Title: Lunch/Brunch Server – Lakeside Clubhouse Grille at Blackhawk Country Club
Job Summary:
Blackhawk Country Club is seeking a professional, personable, and experienced server to join our F&B team at the Lakeside Clubhouse Grille. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences during our lunch and brunch service hours, ensuring member satisfaction through attentive service and a deep knowledge of our menu offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet members and guests promptly with a welcoming demeanor and provide an overview of the menu, including daily specials and recommendations.
Take food and beverage orders accurately, paying close attention to members' preferences and special dietary requirements.
Deliver meals and beverages to tables efficiently, ensuring timely service and that all orders are presented as requested.
Maintain thorough knowledge of the Club’s food and beverage offerings, including ingredient details, preparation methods, and available accommodations for allergies or dietary restrictions.
Provide an attentive dining experience, from refilling beverages to checking on guests' needs throughout their visit.
Process payments and transactions, ensuring accuracy and member satisfaction.
Set up and clean tables and dining areas before, during, and after service, adhering to the Club’s presentation standards.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining room, including the service areas and utensils.
Work closely with kitchen staff to communicate order details and ensure meal preparation aligns with guest expectations.
Handle any concerns or feedback from guests promptly and with a solutions-oriented approach.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on Club procedures and service standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a server in a fast-paced dining environment, with a preference for those with country club or fine dining experience.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a busy setting.
Knowledge of POS systems and basic financial transactions.
Strong team player with a commitment to the Club’s values of service excellence.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the dining schedule.
