Hispanic Federation (HF) is the nation's premier Latino nonprofit membership organization. Who We Seek
Hispanic Federation is seeking Canvassers to complete voter registration and support community outreach via door knocking, community events, phone banking, and text messaging services. The Community Outreach Canvasser will work closely with the Hispanic Federation Team to create a meaningful impact in community outreach to ensure specific, underserved communities participate fully in their civic duty, specifically around voter registration and GOtV (Get Out the Vote) campaigns.
The successful candidate is comfortable speaking to community members in English and Spanish, understands the importance of community engagement in the civic process, and can adhere to protocols and procedures as directed. The canvassers will report to the Director of Community Outreach and Engagement.
Position Location: Central Florida
Salary: $22/hr. up to 28 hours per week.
Reports to: Director of Community Outreach and Engagement
Temporary position May 6, 2024 – November 6th
