Ohio Valley Voices is Hiring an Executive Administrative Assistant Near Loveland, OH

Overview:
Ohio Valley voices is a 501C3 nonprofit organization that teaches children who are deaf and hard of hearing how to listen and talk.

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to Ohio Valley Voices' executive director, associate director, and development director. They are responsible for managing and coordinating office activities and schedules, preparing reports and handbooks, and making travel arrangements. They will manage out IT, copier, and phone systems.

Duties:

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Gather appropriate materials for board and committee meetings
  • Manage OVV board OneDrive
  • Manage OVV volunteer program
  • Edit and input grants into grant systems
  • Assist with database management
  • Support development in donor relationships
  • Support staff events
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Update and maintain OVV's handbooks
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Greet and provide general support to all visitors
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Maintain all certifications and logs for professional presentations
  • Complete duties as assigned by the executive director, associate director, and development director

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Preferred one year's experience in administrative assistance and/or customer service
  • Working knowledge of office equipment (printers, faxes, phone systems)
  • Proficiency in MS office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
