Ohio Valley Voices is Hiring a Preschool Teacher Near Loveland, OH
Ohio Valley Voices is an early intervention program that teaches children with hearing loss how to listen and speak through the use of hearing aids and cochlear implants. Ohio Valley Voices offers a data driven curriculum in a nurturing, language-enriched setting.
Ohio Valley Voices is seeking a full-time deaf educator or speech-language pathologist to work with children aged birth through 2nd grade and their families.
The speech language pathologist or deaf educator will instruct the child in language, speech, and auditory development at a level that allows the child to close the gap to hearing peers. Specific duties include:
- Plan and implement therapy sessions for children from birth through 2nd grade
- Supervise students in the classroom, in the building, and on the playground
- Attend weekly staff meetings and individual meetings
- Communicate with parents regarding objectives and classroom activities
- Demonstrate excellent relationship skills and good moral contact
- Work well in a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
