Position Overview:
Edgesource is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our dynamic team in support of a USG client located in the Chantilly, VA area as part of our talented group of developers, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing a variety of systems. Our team is currently focused on the containerization of a large Service Bus architecture. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our mission-critical systems. This position requires a TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance and that all work be performed full-time / onsite at the client facility.

Job Duties:

• Participate in the development of a Microservices-based, Cloud Agnostic, System Architecture
• Develop user stories, participate in daily Stand-Ups, bi-weekly Sprint Planning and quarterly Planning Increment Events
• Develop software, unit tests and installation procedures in a variety of languages based on tasking
• Work with the test team to develop Integration Test Plans
• Provide Tier 3 Support (business hours only) for an existing Mission System

Required Qualifications:

• Possess an active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
• Bachelor's degree and 11 years of related software development experience OR 15 years of related software development experience in lieu of a degree

Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED):

• Software Development Experience in several of the following:
  • C# (.Net Framework, .Net Core)
  • Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript
  • Python
  • Relational Databases such as SqlServer, PostgreSql, etc.
  • Containerization
