More About the Position
A T&G Permit Coordinator
* Facilitates communication with each city in the most cost effective and expedient manner to ensure permit can be closed in 30 days
* Receives information from field divisions via software system and asses the urgency of request
* Prioritizes urgent requests, creates PO for check requisitions, creates permit tracking ticket in Service Titan and enters details
* Ensures inspection date has been set for all customers
* Communicates with customer and municipality to ensure inspection is scheduled and customer is available
* Ensures each inspection is completed and is passed
* Inquires about failed inspections and communicate findings to field staff
* Executes follow up process for customers who do not schedule inspections
* Closes out permit tracking ticket
What Does It Take?
* Ability to work in office daily
* You will need to be comfortable learning new software and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
* You must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented
* Must have a high school diploma
* Ability to pass prescreening requirements: Clear 9-panel drug test, background check

Please arrive at 24501 Hallwood Ct Farmington Hills, 48335. This building is the first building you will see with the Thornton and Grooms trucks. We do have two buildings.
Parking: Please park in one of our two building lots only. We have signs indicating where the addition parking is along the tree line faces away from Halsted (behind the skating rink), where our trucks are. If you are unsure, please ask one of our staff members when you enter the building and they will guide you on where to park.
Plan to be here around 1 hour, we will give an overview of the company, a tour, and on-site interview with a hiring manager.
