Job purpose
The ITCD Care Coordinator Supervisor will have supervisory responsibility for care coordinators and peer providers in the CPR program. The Care Coordinator Supervisor will monitor the caseloads of supervisees and assess the needs of clients to ensure the behavioral health needs of those enrolled in the program are efficiently and effectively served.
Duties and responsibilities
Provide regular and frequent supervision to all on supervision caseload
Be readily available when client specific issues requiring supervisory guidance and expertise arise
Complete required documentation to ensure appropriate treatment at all stages of the treatment process
Assist in training of supervisees in order for them to meet job responsibilities
Review and approve completion of progress notes and other documentation by supervisees to ensure they are done in a timely manner and meet program standards
Monitor supervisee productivity on a weekly basis and assist in time management for care coordinators as needed
Monitor supervisee training to ensure they are on track to complete required trainings and assign trainings as needed
Accompany supervisees on visits and to client treatment team meetings so as to ensure quality performance and to provide support and consultation
Complete annual evaluations on all supervisees at the designated time
Complete 0ther duties as required by the position and/or as assigned by the immediate supervisor or the Chief Executive Officer
Qualifications
Education - Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related health field.
Skills/Abilities- Possess strong supervision qualities. Effective oral and written communication. Aptitude to understand and flexibility to adapt to ever-changing regulations and requirements.
Experience- QMHP as defined by State regulations with background in clinical practice and/or behavioral health supervision, or if Bachelor’s level must have three (3) years of experience as a care coordinator with the client age group for whom supervising.
Working conditions
General Conditions- Work is generally performed in office type settings where answering phone and using computers and other technology should be expected.
Special conditions -Meetings with clients outside the office may require ability to tolerate prolonged exposure to smoke and pets.
Physical requirements
General Conditions- Job duties may require sitting or standing for long periods of time. Travel, with some trips requiring several hours in a vehicle, should be expected. Minor lifting and moving may be expected requiring ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Special conditions -Meetings with clients outside the office may require ability to enter and access homes of all configurations.
