Clark Community Mental Health is Hiring a Billing Specialist Near Pierce, MO
- The Billing Specialist shall be responsible for entering all required information in EHR for billing purposes.
- The Billing Specialist shall be responsible for doing weekly billing to assigned 3rd party payers unless designated as once a month billing. The Billing Specialist will also need to check why billings are not going through and correct the information.
- The Billing Specialist shall be responsible for posting all payments from assigned payers.
- The Billing Specialist will be responsible for checking eligibility of Medicaid, Medicare, Insurance and let the front office staff know if a copay is due by calling and putting the information in EHR.
- The Billing Specialist will keep the payment information current on each client and advise the front office staff when there is a discrepancy with the information in EHR
- Complete 0ther duties as required by the position and/or as assigned by the immediate supervisor or the Chief Executive Officer
- Education – High School Diploma
- Specialized knowledge and Experience- Insurance billing and/or business operations
- Skills/Abilities- Organization. Effective oral and written communication.
