Clark Community Mental Health is Hiring a Crisis Services and Intake Supervisor Near MONETT, MO
The Crisis Services and Intake Supervisor will have supervisory responsibility for the staff serving in crisis intervention and intake assessments. The Crisis Services and Intake Supervisor shall serve to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the program to ensure the behavioral health needs of those needing crisis services and/or entry in to services are appropriately served.
Duties and responsibilities
Implement plans and actions to enhance crisis response services
Implement plans and actions to enhance intake process
Manage Open Access and the initial referral process
Manage day-time crisis response (telephone and walk-in) during business hours
Back-up on-call to be available as second person to go on Mobile Crisis Response or provide supervision to on-call staff after hours
Organize and supervise on call, after hour rotation staff.
Train on-call crisis staff to ensure appropriate response
Represent the agency at the State and Council levels in monthly meetings
Oversee all quality assurance, accreditation and innovation of the programs
Promote positive public awareness and support of the organization in the community
Complete annual evaluations on all supervisees at the designated time
Complete 0ther duties as required by the position and/or as assigned by the immediate supervisor or the Chief Executive Officer
Qualifications
Education - Minimum of a Master degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related health field.
Specialized knowledge- Crisis response approaches. Legal matters related to crisis response.
Skills/Abilities- Possess strong leadership qualities. Effective oral and written communication.
Professional Certification- Clinical practice license required
Experience- Licensed QMHP as defined by State regulations with background in clinical practice and behavioral health program supervision and/or management
Working conditions
General Conditions- Work is generally performed in office type settings where answering phone and using computers and other technology should be expected.

Physical requirements
General Conditions- Job duties may require sitting or standing for long periods of time. Travel, with some trips requiring several hours in a vehicle, should be expected. Minor lifting and moving may be expected requiring ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
