Overview:

We are seeking a PeopleSoft Business Analyst that can support a project for our client who has implemented a pension benefit administration solution for internal staff use, as well as for external customer self-service applications leveraging multiple databases in Oracle's PeopleSoft solution set (i.e. IH, CRM, HCM, FMS). Our client administers two separate highly complex retirement systems, each having thousands of participating employers and multiple tiers of memberships with differing rules and regulations governing them.

Duties:

• Collaborate with the operational business owners and a team of BSAs and Application Developers.
• Research and design batch and online solutions.
• Develop designs, comprehensive test plans, testing solutions, and support downstream questions and troubleshooting issues.
• Mentor and coach NYSLRD teams on best practices to enhance expertise and capacity in PeopleSoft HCM.
• Other duties as needed.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• 4- 6 years of business analysis experience in a PeopleSoft environment with at least 3 years od experience in each of the following knowledge areas:
  • Business analysis planning and monitoring
  • Elicitation and collaboration
  • Requirements life cycle management
  • Strategy analysis
  • Requirements analysis and design definition
  • Solution evaluation
• Four or more years of experience in reading and creating SQLs.
• Four or more years of experience utilizing an understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and table structures.
• Experience supporting a pension benefit administration solution in a government setting.
• Experience performing business analysis in multiple PeopleSoft modules within the CRM database, familiarity with HCM, FSM and IH database functionality.
• Experience developing solutions emphasizing use of delivered functionality either to remove existing customizations or to provide solutions to business needs.
• Experience performing or supporting complex business analysis and testing of batch and online in HCM.
• Four or more years of experience developing collaborative solutions and troubleshooting issues between Configuration and Application Development teams.
• Familiarity with CRM, HCM and IH databases/functionality.
