Overview:
Seeking a strong and talented Application Architect that can lead and contribute full-stack development across a diverse set of developers and technologies. This role requires deep technical knowledge and the ability to partner with both business and technical teams to deliver strategic goals. The Application Architect defines and develops the emerging solution architecture and ensures that the team is successful within the technical framework; this individual map project business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure they are in line with the enterprise architectural plan and industry best practices. This position defines guidelines and enforces standards for development.
Responsibilities:
· Involved in all aspects of Agile SDLC.
· Direct and mentor Lead Developers across scrum teams.
· Provide expertise and SOLID development principles to deliver quality digital, web, and mobile solutions. Should be proficient in software design patterns and practices.
· Perform application design reviews from application interaction to code levels.
· Collaborate with product owner and business representatives to determine and satisfy needs.
· Responsible to provide business and technical solutions.
· Should be able to develop POC using cutting edge technologies to meet business goals.
· Create and maintain technical documentation and lecture the concepts to tech leads.
· Define and approve enterprise standards for our new applications.
· Story analysis, breakdown, and estimation.
· Should be able to review and understand application telemetry and define preventive measurements and long-term solutions.
Qualifications:
· Graduate degree in computer science and Information technologies.
· 8 years of experience with Microsoft's Web, mobile, and client-server technologies.
· Languages: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AJAX, Angular, Bootstrap, NodeJS
· Database: MS SQL Server and Mongo DB.
· Experience building responsive and adaptive web-based applications.
· Experience building web-based applications that are supported across browsers and across Operating Systems.
· Application performance tuning and optimization.
· AWS and/or Azure and cloud computing.
· Experience with source controls such as GIT and Subversion.
· Analytical, problem-solving and end-to-end mindset.
· Self-driven with minimal supervision.
· Comfortable with a fast pace with rapidly changing priorities.
· Understanding application security vulnerabilities.
· Knowledgeable with Test driven development practices and procedure across all layers of application development.
Preferred:
· Experience architecting, designing, and programming applications in Cloud environment (e.g.: Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure).
· Deploy and manage virtualized and/or containerized workloads in development through production (e.g.: Vagrant, Docker).
· Experience with migrating existing application to Microservices architecture.
· Experience with cyber security concepts.
