Job Duties
We are looking for professionals with fiscal experience to drive the business operations of the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The Richmond District, Chesterfield Residency, is seeking an individual to provide financial support and services to included maintaining, calculating, researching, validating, and performing data input for various accounting transactions for the Chesterfield Residency. Transactions may include time and attendance, accounts payable, procurement, SPCC (Small Purchase Charge Card), travel, inventory, and other related fiscal service transactions. You will review data entry of employee regular and overtime, data input of employee leave and run reports; receive, verify and reconcile invoices to Cardinal receiver, enter data into FDMS and create voucher in Cardinal for payment; review charge distributions for accuracy and ensure documentation has appropriate signatures, approvals and required SWAM documentation; prepare requisitions and purchase orders; receive, verify and reconcile SPCC; review and perform data entry of travel and employee reimbursements; key inventory data and run monthly reports; solicit quotes for goods/services not on established contracts. Maintain & set up payables/contract files.
