*Your Role*:
As a PT ER nurse, you'll be at the forefront of healthcare, assessing patient health problems and needs. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Assessing patient health problems needs and developing, implementing and evaluateing patient care plans accordingly.
* Providing nursing care.
* Advising and educating patients, family members and significant others on health maintenance and disease prevention for the patient.
* Documenting and maintaining accurate medical records and reports.
* Participating in quality improvement activities as appropriate to position.
* Serving as a patient advocate in seeking appropriate community resources to meet patient needs.
* Interacting with and contributing to the professional development of peers, other healthcare providers, and colleagues to enhance own professional nursing practice.
* Demonstrating competencies in the specialty area of Emergency.
* Performing other duties as assigned.

*A Part-Time RN (Registered Nurse) - Emergency Room (ER) should have the below minimum Education/Work Experience*
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
* 2 years of RN experience on a medical/surgical unit OR 1 year RN experience in an Emergency Department or Critical Care Unit
*Knowledge/Skills/Abilities for a PT ER Registered Nurse*
* Demonstrate critical thinking and decision making
* Ability to work autonomously and as a team
* Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills
* Ability to work and multi-task in a high stress and fast paced environment
* Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations
* Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
*A Part-time Emergency Room Nurse need the below licenses/certifications*
* Current professional nurse licensure in Minnesota or if licensed in another state, a permit from the Minnesota Board of Nursing while the license application is in process
* BLS Certification
* ACLS within 6 months of hire
* Successful completion of TNCC within one year of hire
* Successful completion of ENPC within two years of hire
*Preferred Qualifications for a PT ER nurse*
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing
* 3 years RN experience in an Acute Care, Critical Care or Emergency Department
* Certified Emergency Nurse certification
