We are currently seeking a Part-time Night Auditor to join our team at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Danbury, CT. Position Overview:
The Part-time Night Auditor will be responsible for overseeing the nightly operations of the hotel, including reconciling daily transactions, preparing reports, and providing excellent customer service to guests. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in hotel operations and a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Check-in late-arriving guests and handle guest inquiries and requests during the night shift.
• Balance and reconcile daily financial transactions, including room charges, cash, and credit card payments.
• Prepare daily reports, including occupancy reports and revenue summaries.
• Ensure the security of the hotel by monitoring surveillance cameras and performing regular security checks.
• Assist guests with check-out procedures and handle any billing disputes.
• Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a smooth transition between shifts.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hotel operations, preferably in a night audit or front desk role.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in completing financial transactions.

Education and Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a night audit or accounting role is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
