The Hollister Group is Hiring a Part Time Bookkeeper Near Canonsburg, PA
We are seeking a diligent, sharp and detail-oriented candidate to serve as a Finance Associate for our Tech client in the Pittsburgh, PA area. This role is on site 20 hours each week and will be responsible for both daily transactions as well as strategic financial planning.
Compensation: $30 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Serve primary point of contact for management, employees, and vendors regarding all financial transactions
- Process and reconcile all bills, invoices and requisitions
- Review expense requests, address inquiries, and settle any billing discrepancies that arise
- Uphold high standard for quality work and adherence to standard accounting procedure and financial practices
- Complete regular billing tasks and tackle special projects using QuickBooks and Salesforce as requested
- Maintain regulatory compliance and perform Export Control screenings
- Ensure department efficacy by assessing and proactively improving process
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Accounting
- QuickBooks knowledge is a must!
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills
- An autonomous and creative personality
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
