EQUITY ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES INC AND AFFILIATES is Hiring a Reconciliation Cash and Asset Data Analyst Near Westlake, OH

  • This position is based out of our Westlake, OH office and is eligible for a hybrid schedule after probationary period.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Reconciliation Cash & Asset Data Analyst monitors and supports data maintenance, configuration, and analytics for the organization ensuring data integrity. Cultivates and designs solutions in conjunction with internal business partners to support strategic goals and corporate vision and acts as a subject matter expert on processes and systems.


RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Complete day-to-day assigned tasks, including reports, cash and position break resolution, dashboard monitoring and data maintenance.
  • Collaborates with partners across the company for review of date to analyze trends, identify gaps, and recommend remediation and improvements.
  • Identifies and documents change to business processes for impact to reconciliations.
  • Contributes to the development of training.
  • Participates in company initiatives, project work and growth opportunities.
  • Responsible to identify trends, risk indicators, investigate discrepancies, provided recommendations for improvements and mitigation. Work with external service providers, internal team members and other company departments to resolve issues as identified.
  • Constantly evaluates data, reports, processes, and procedures for inefficiencies and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Embraces strong internal and external relationships, with a focus on partnership and client service.
  • Raising material risk items and service issues on a timely basis.
  • Supports Management in the development of reporting, support reconciliation and business needs.
  • Responsible to define, maintain and monitor reconciliation match rules.
  • Monitors and coordinates system testing and reporting for new processes and/or software releases.
  • Provides requirement analysis of business solutions.
  • Conducts data mining and communicates insights.
  • Works with outside vendors when appropriate to augment internal staff.
  • Assumes role as back-up in cross-functional responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, operations, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in banking and/or financial services preferred

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS

  • None required

TECHNICAL SKILLS

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with and an understanding of the following:

  • Ability to compile large amounts of data and synthesize it into actionable information
  • Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience working within systems, understanding data structures, and building system queries preferred
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel
  • SQL experience a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to speak and hear. The associate is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. This job requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
