As an Accountant Specialist and Office Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health of our company while also managing essential office tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing financial insights to support decision-making processes. Additionally, you will oversee general office administration duties to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
  • Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Office Administration:
  • Oversee general office operations, including managing correspondence, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and reorder supplies as needed.
  • Coordinate meetings and appointments, including scheduling and arranging logistics.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, including paperwork and orientation.
  • Manage office facilities and equipment, coordinating maintenance and repairs when necessary.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
  • Assist in HR tasks such as maintaining employee records and processing payroll.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as vendors, clients, and financial institutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support decision-making processes.
  • Communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations as needed.
  • Compliance and Regulation:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is a plus.
