Brightspire, a not-for-profit organization is seeking an Associate Director - Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for Friends Homes our managed continuing care retirement community located in Greensboro, N.C. The Associate Director - Licensed Nursing Home Administrator position assists the Executive Director in providing leadership to the organization and oversees the operations of the health care center to ensure outstanding service for our residents, an exceptional work environment for team members, and excellent fiscal stewardship of the budget.
This role is responsible directly to the Executive Director and the Vice President of Operations. Functions include but are not limited to:
Carrying out the organizational mission, goals, and objectives with passion and integrity.
Driving, developing, and implementing person-centered care/culture change
Supervising the Director of Nursing
Implementing policies, procedures, and assuring adherence to regulations
Working with the department to prepare and efficiently manage the approved budget.
Inspecting the community to ensure that the building meets safety and health regulations.
Assisting the Executive Director with managing employees and completing evaluations of team members.
Qualifications include:
Licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in NC with appropriate work experience in the healthcare field
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate managerial field, or experience equivalent
Minimum five years experience in a supervisory capacity
Passion and innovation for aging services with the ability to keep abreast of changes in the aging field
Creativity, organization, and the drive to successfully lead, direct, and manage a diverse team, developing trust
