Material Handler & Forklift Operator Pay: $18

Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Material Handler & Forklift Operator Essential Functions:

• Pulling and Issuing Material for construction and maintenance projects
• Inspecting and Transferring Material
• Processing Orders
• Performing Quality Control
• Performing Inventory Auditing functions such as cycle counts
• Preparing for disposal of Materials
• Salvaging and Recycling Materials
• Operating Forklift
• Assisting in Emergency restoration as needed/on occasion
• Supporting other warehouse workloads as required
• Performing general housekeeping, cleaning and sweeping daily or as needed
• Performing work outdoors under and assortment of weather conditions and temperature extremes
• Data entry and responding to emails

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft software
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug screening
• Driver's license

Physical Demands

This individual should be able to perform the necessary functions as it relates to the job:

• Must be able to stand, walk and sit over 2/3 of the time
• Must be able to use hands to finger, handle or feel over 2/3 of the time
• Must be able to reach with hands or arms over 2/3 of the time
• Must be able to climb or balance under 1/3 of the time
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl over 2/3 of the time
• Must be able to talk and hear clearly
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds over 2/3 of the time
• Must have a depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)
• Must be able to work in high, precarious places under 1/3 of the time
• Must be able to perform around toxic or caustic chemicals under 1/3 of the time
• Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions over 2/3 of the time
• Must be able to endure loud noise (Examples: horns, material handling equipment)
